Tommy Terrific’s owners, Tom and Kim Miller, are passionate about education and community involvement. In fact, some of our most significant contributions are made in support of the local education system.
In 2016, Tommy Terrific’s Car Wash in Dallas launched the “Live Terrific” scholarship for college tuition. The scholarship contest was created to reward and assist in easing the financial burden of college for a student who embodied the betterment of their community.
The $5,000 donation was made available to seniors enrolled at Woodrow Wilson High School who answered the essay question, “How are you terrific in your community?” Today, we are proud to continue our support for Woodrow Wilson High School by sponsoring the annual Homecoming parade.
As a local business, we feel a strong duty to show support to the organizations that bring value to our neighborhood, city, state, and beyond.
Outside of education, we are excited to reveal that our community involvement extends to Project Elf. Project Elf is a Dallas organization whose volunteers sponsor individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness, by providing them with a complete home makeover. Tom and Kim Miller have had a firsthand involvement in fundraising for Project Elf’s initiatives.

Tommy Terrific’s fundraising sponsorships include generous full-value gift cards and cash donations to a variety of local charitable organizations.
Some of our ongoing donations include the UTD annual scholarships golf tournament, the Police and Fire Rescue yearly fundraiser, Emily’s Place, and many more!
Our outreach initiatives also extend to the Bishop Arts Theatre Center, KERA/KXT underwriting, and many other groups that we strongly believe in. That said, we’d love to add your organization to list of people we help!
